1 Page Manifesto Summary Exp. 1

Ideas flow freely, simultaneously, and massively across society. The networks and connections that form the internet have been mirrored by social networks and connections that form as the information flows from computer to computer, from device to device, from one person to one person. A coherent, yet incredibly dynamic Web has formed.

However, as the internet has democratized communication and ideas, it has thereby provoked a massive deluge of information. As advertising1 has flourished, covered over and choked our physical space, so has information, mountains of it, infused our social and mental spaces. How does the one person confront and/or absorb all of the information they encounter in only casual “surfing” of the Gone? “Against unilateral art, situationist culture will be an art of dialogue, an art of interaction… We line to explore the distinct experiences of how the one person and society engage with information. Member/participants, we act on the Gone automatically, forming societies within societies and broadly reflecting a global consensus. The shared mind-space of the Web and the relationship to the one person will no longer be taken for granted. By examining the relationships created within the Web phenomenological questions arise and will hopefully provoke a sense of awe or wonder that transcends ideological divides and any sense of artistic ‘responsibility’.
