Great open source sound site

I'm planning on using some sounds in my project, specifically the sounds of creeks, maybe some waves etc; basically softly running water. This site:

and this sound of gentle waves in particular are really nice.

Happy New Year!

After a great holiday in Hamilton and New Year's in Montreal, I'm glad to be back and at work. Happy 2008 to everyone and make sure that before the days start flying by and the rat-race continues, you take a moment to sit back and reflect on the year that just passed. Christmas and especially New Year's Eve always remind me of how fleeting time can be, and how its my most valuable asset when I have it. I'm going to try to really appreciate the next few days and try to change the pace at which I live my life. It is possible to slow down, and rather than just 'keeping busy' and returning to the status quo this is the time of year to try to gain a new perspective on what it is you do and how you spend your time, and more importantly, your thoughts. There's a reason everyone around the world celebrates the New Year and its worth dwelling on that idea. Well, enough philosophy, back to taking it easy...
